About the event
We have heard from our community that there is a need to create space for more open dialogue about different forms of discrimination and its impacts. We want to do just that - virtually. “Exploring Our Intersections” will feature important conversations about how our identities, experiences, and oppressions shape who we are.
Our goal is to make the voices of people with disabilities central in conversations on inclusion and social justice. Expect discussions about ableism and how it often combines with other forms of discrimination to create a unique set of experiences for racialized people, Indigenous peoples, women, and children with disabilities.
This series will feature guest speakers including people with lived experiences, disability-rights advocates, changemakers and more!
