SMILE Canada in partnership with Special Olympics Ontario are excited to announce that RECFEST is back! We need your help! Volunteers are our greatest asset, and we need as much help as we can get. Come help out at RECFEST on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at the Hangar on 75 Carl Hall Rd, North York, ON M3K 2B9 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
SMILE Canada - Support Services support children and their families from minority communities living with a disability and/or critical illness through our services, programs, and events. RECFEST is one of our biggest events of the year. It is an indoor event dedicated to celebrating diversity and ability through a carnival of fun! Families will have the opportunity to experience the joy of play and sport in an accessible environment with activities for all ages and abilities! RECFEST consists of a multitude of athletic games and activities such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey, 9-hole mini putt, football, baseball and so much more!
Requirements for a volunteer:
- Must be 15+
- Must have experience working with children
- Must attend orientation
