In continuation of SMILE's Monthly Facebook Live Series: Exploring Our Intersections, this month SMILE will be discussing the topic of 'Where We Belong - Exploring the Intersection of Faith, Gender and Disability' with Omaya Rakieh, an IT professional project manager and dedicated disability advocate. Omaya has served GTA Muslim communities in various leadership capacities for years, varying from local Mosque's like ISNA Canada, and as a founding member of CAMD (Canadian Association of Muslims with Disabilities), ERDCO (Ethno Racial people of Disabilities Coalition of Ontario) & the Lebanese Handicapped Associated in Lebanon.
