Service Navigators are the backbone of our mission, providing culturally sensitive support to diverse families in multiple languages (Arabic, Urdu, Somali, Farsi, and more). They connect SMILE families to crucial resources, tailor assistance to each child's needs, and break down barriers to necessary services through advocacy, ensuring every child with a disability receives the vital support they deserve.
SMILE canada also offers a range of programs and services to families. This includes hospital support for children with critical long-term illnesses, emergency relief funds covering essential needs like food, hygiene items, and urgent healthcare equipment as well as various coaching and support groups. We also provide financial assistance for necessary services and equipment such as wheelchairs, assistive technology, crucial therapy sessions, and much more.
