Join us for a meaningful gathering on Tuesday, December 9th, as we come together to recognize the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD)!
This culturally responsive event is designed to bring together community members, advocates, and professionals from diverse backgrounds to explore the multifaceted experiences of people with disabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions around the impacts of disability, including the effects of trauma, intergenerational experiences, and the unique challenges faced by newcomers and displaced individuals.
Through collaborative dialogue and shared stories, we aim to deepen our collective understanding of accessibility, equity, and intersectionality. Attendees will also explore practical strategies for creating inclusive spaces and strengthening equitable practices across all sectors, from community programs to professional fields.
We invite you to connect, learn, and contribute to a conversation that matters. Lunch will be provided to all guests, and ASL interpretation will be available to ensure a fully accessible experience. Come be part of a community committed to inclusion, understanding, and positive change!
