Families and caregivers work alongside a Program Project Coordinator to help participants build essential life skills and interest-based skills through hands-on workshops. The program then supports participants in developing a business idea, from concept to launch. Workshops and meetings are held weekly to bi-weekly, both in person and online. These sessions focus on building specific skills needed to start, manage, and sustain a business aligned with each participant’s interests.Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when the program is accepting participants again!
Families and caregivers begin with an intake meeting with the Program Project Coordinator. During this meeting, program expectations are outlined, and participants complete a program form and interest form.
After the intake process, participants are enrolled in program workshops. Based on interest and registration, participants may also be enrolled in the Open Shop program. The goal of this program is to support youth ages 15–30 in strengthening life skills, learning practical and entrepreneurial skills, and transforming ideas into real business ventures.
