Because being there means everything.

You’re invited to a private dinner in support of SMILE Canada’s Hospital Support Program on
Monday, December 7th, at the Aga Khan Museum, 77 Wynford Drive, Toronto. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

No parent plans for the days and nights spent beside their child in hospital. Waiting for answers, watching their child struggle, and wishing they could make it all better can feel overwhelming. In those moments, having someone to lean on can help families feel less alone.

These are families in our communities. Our neighbours, our friends, and people whose lives may look much like our own.

SMILE Canada’s Hospital Support Program helps bring comfort and practical support to children and their families during some of their most difficult moments.

Join us for dinner at the Aga Khan Museum as we come together to support families caring for a child in hospital.

What to Expect

Spend an evening surrounded by art, history, and stories at the Aga Khan Museum. Enjoy dinner and meaningful conversation, hear from our featured speaker, and discover the care at the heart of SMILE Canada’s Hospital Support Program. Moments That Matter invites us to pause and reflect on the moments that mean everything to a family: a hand to hold, a familiar voice, the comfort of being by their child’s side. Together, we’ll explore how care and community can help make room for these moments during a child’s hospital stay.

Guests will also have full access to the museum and its exhibitions throughout the evening. Take time to wander the galleries, connect with fellow guests, and enjoy a setting that invites reflection and discovery.

Speaker announcement coming soon.

About SMILE

Since 2008, SMILE Canada has supported children and youth with disabilities and their families. As a registered charity, we help families access the support they need. Our Hospital Support Program offers practical and emotional support to these families and others facing long hospital stays due to illness, injury, surgery, premature birth, or cancer treatment. We also support families navigating the end of a child’s life, helping them feel less alone during some of their most difficult moments.
