Making Waves for Kids Across Canada

We’re a group of Paddleboarders, and we’re hitting the water for a cause - in support of children with disabilities critical illnesses!

On August 9th, a group of us will be paddling 6 KM along the Humber River to raise vital funds for children with disabilities and their families across Canada.

While we’re not expert paddle-boarders, we’re doing this to make a difference for SMILE Canada - an organization close to our hearts that currently supports over 1,000 families, including many refugee families living in temporary shelters and cut off from essential healthcare and services.
SMILE’s mission is to uplift children with disabilities and critical illnesses—including those impacted by war, displacement, and systemic barriers.

All proceeds will support

  • Families with children in long-term hospital care or at end-of-life
  • Newcomer families affected by war and displacement
  • Families facing barriers to essential disability services

Your Support Helps Fund:

  • Hospital Support – Comprehensive care and financial support for children with long-term or frequent hospital stay.
  • Resources for Pediatric Disability Services – Providing access and covering costs for therapies, adaptive equipment, respite care, and support for families navigating new diagnoses and unfamiliar systems.
