Supporting Palestinian Families and Children in Canada
Many Palestinian families evacuated from Gaza—whether through the Special Measures Program or by seeking asylum at the Canadian border—face extraordinary challenges as they begin their new lives in Canada. Many do not have access to basic services and are living in communal housing or shelters. Children, in particular, face heightened vulnerability, especially those with disabilities or special needs.

SMILE Canada’s Arabic-speaking service navigators work tirelessly to provide essential support. They help families access medical services, advocate for children in schools, and guide them through their child’s disability journey. As winter approaches, families urgently need assistance with warm clothing, boots, technology for education and communication, diapers, and other household essentials.

We have compiled a list of necessary items, with a separate donation link on this page. Each contribution helps SMILE Canada purchase and distribute these items directly to families, ensuring children and their parents feel safer, supported, and more comfortable in their new homes.
Your generosity helps provide:

Warm winter clothing and boots for children and adults

Laptops and Chromebooks to support learning and communication

Diapers for children with trauma-related bedwetting

Essential household items and groceries

Together, we can help Palestinian evacuee families start their new lives in Canada with dignity, comfort, and hope.
