Self-Regulating Toolkits
SMILE Canada supported by TD Bank Group has researched and developed self-regulating toolkits to distribute to public organizations

Parent Coaching
An opportunity for families and caregivers to be paired with a parent coach who has a background in speech, language or applied behaviour
analysis (ABA) to address a child's needs.

Inclusion Taskforce
Working on issues of accessibility and inclusion within community events, Islamic and private schools. We work on a consultation basis with community
members, religious leaders & advocates to ensure accessibility in all spaces.

Financial Assistance
In the form of scholarships to families who are in need of therapy, respite services and adaptive equipment, Stay tuned on our social media for when the
next scholarship application opens.

RECFest
A sporting event celebrating diversity in the community in partnership with Special Olympics Ontario!

SMILE's Hospital Support Program
The Children’s Hospital Program helps kids during long term hospital stays through a variety of supports.

Mentorship Program
The SMILE Volunteer Mentorship Program is intended to provide support, companionship, and fun through a mentee and mentor relationship!
lasting friendships.

Therapy Programs
Therapy groups with qualified professionals to support families in a fun and unique way. Past programs have included soccer clinics, art classes
and yoga therapy!

Community Conversations
An opportunity for the broader community to learn about disability issues - challenges, successes and impact on individuals & society - with
the goal of creating awareness and inclusion

Parent Support Groups
SMILE hosts Mom's and Dad's Support Groups to provide parents with a safe space to interact with like-minded parents that come from shared
backgrounds. These are facilitated by qualified speakers and professionals.

The Roots Program
The Roots Program empowers racialize youth, equipping them with essential skills for success in life through development of life skills, employment readiness, financial literacy and more!

Service Navigation
Case management begins with a SMILE intake interview that identifies the needs of children, youth and their families. Families are connected with various
government and private resources to help access supports.
